Originally a KOA, the campground
started business Memorial Day weekend in 1968. The last owners left the
KOA affiliation in 1997. Although we ourselves are new owners as of March
2003, we have been campers all of our lives and are loving the experience.
The campground was built as a KOA transient campground, but we offer superb
amenities to both the overnight and seasonal camper looking for a peaceful
home for the summer. We are located less than a 1/2 mile from I-70, yet
have a quiet, rolling landscape complete with a large fishing pond and
a pool for cooling off in the warm Illinois summers. Come and try us out…you
won’t want to leave…we didn’t!
